Carol Lane

World and Olympic Coach

Carol began her skating career in London, England, at the age of 7. With a natural affinity for ice dance, she teamed with her first partner at the age of fifteen, and competed in Junior Nationals. The following season Carol and her partner competed in both Junior and Senior Nationals. Carol then moved to Queens Ice Club, the premier training center for international ice dancing. Under the direction of Jon Lane and Gladys Hogg M.B.E., Carol became a regular on the International competition circuit, gaining a Senior National Championship Bronze Medal, and an alternate spot on the World and Olympic team. Carol has taught extensively in Europe and North America, and her students are currently competing regularly at the National, International and World level.
