Melissa and Evan began skating together in May 2011. Melissa is 14 years old, and has been skating at the Scarboro Figure Skating Club since she was 4. Evan is 15 years old and began skating when he was 5. He represents the Schomberg Figure Skating Club. Melissa has been a part of the IDE team for 3 years while Evan joined IDE in the spring of 2011 after skating for a year at the Mariposa School of skating with another partner. Melissa enjoys being on the ice and competing in both Ice Dance and Freeskate. In her free time, Melissa takes part in various sports and hangs out with friends. Evan did one season of speedskating and is now enjoying ice dance. They are both looking forward to starting their partnership in the Starskate stream.
