Piper and Paul just teamed up in July of 2011. Since then, they have quickly put together their two programs, and are training hard in order to have them ready for the start of their season at the Challenge in December. From there, they are hoping to have a very strong showing at the 2012 Nationals, and prove that they are ready for the international circuit next season. Though Piper is from Colorado Springs, they will make Ice Dance Elite their training base, with some visits to Colorado to work with Christopher Dean, who choreographed their freedance. They are an athletic team and hope that their strength and charisma will show while they perform. Outside of skating, Piper is very interested in fashion and plans to apply to design schools in Toronto for next year. Paul is starting his second year at the University of Toronto studying linguistics.
