Irina Razgulajevs

Irina Razgulajevs was born in Moscow, Russia. She was a competitive rhythmic gymnast for ten years and a member of the Russian National Team. At age 17 she entered the Academy of Physical Culture in Moscow and began her career as a professional dancer. In 1997 she graduated and received a Bachelor of Art Degree in Physical Education. For several years Irina was a substitute coach for National competitive rhythmic gymnastic club in Moscow, and also participated in many of shows and tours around the world.

In 1999 Irina moved to Canada with her husband Juris Razgulajevs and became involved in coaching off-ice at Scarboro Figure Skating Club. Her dynamic energy and great enthusiasm for the skaters has helped build a wonderful off ice program enjoyed by all levels of participants. In 2004 Irina was appointed director of off-ice activities at the Club. Her work with Ice Dance Elite members has been instrumental in helping the dancers gain the necessary level of athleticism needed to compete at the highest levels.
