Once upon a time, Joanna Salvagna and Marc-Andre Servant started their life together in a purely accidental, co-incidental meeting of two mothers during a school trip to the Pickering re-cycling plant. They met in May 2003 and started working together in September of that year.

Joanna is presently 11 years old and is in Grade 6. Joanna started skating when she was 5 years old. She loves to read, swim in her pool, rollerblade, bike ride and especially spend time with her dog Holly.

Marc-Andre is 14 years old and is enjoying his first year of high school. He has been skating since he was 7 years old and loves to dance. His other passions are cross-

country running, track, Star Wars, and soccer, soccer, soccer (or is that football?)

Joanna and Marc-Andre started their dance career with Caroline Mackeen, and she brought them to the E.O.S. Starskate Invitational Championship in February 2005, Preliminary Division, where they place first, earning that precious green suit. They went on to the Trillium Starskate Championship in March 2005 where they brought home gold again.

In April 2005, Jean-Luc and Jo joined Ice Dance Elite under the guidance of Carol, Jon, Juris and Donna. They have had an amazing summer, a rocky start, and have finally earned the right to represent Eastern Ontario at the Junior Nationals in February 2006, Juvenile Division, after receiving gold at the Eastern sectional Championships this past November. Now they get the blue suit!

They are dreaming big and hope everyone will continue to dream big with them…..
