Katie and Derek have formed a partnership to compete in the gold biathlon event at the upcoming Boston Pizza Challenge, and then at the Trillium cup. They hope to skate well enough to get to the Star Skate Nationals this season.

Katie is a strong singles skater who also competes in the singles triathlon event.

Derek has only been dancing for just over a year, when he made the transition from hockey. Katie and Derek have enjoyed developing their creative dance for the event, and look forward to more adventures in the future.
